Accreditation Process & Framework

Becoming GAB accredited follows a five-stage evaluation designed to verify institutional integrity and technical competence: application, document review, on-site and witness assessment, accreditation decision, and ongoing surveillance.

• Submit an application with scope and management system documentation
• Document review against the applicable ISO/IEC standard
• On-site and witness assessment of competence
• Independent accreditation decision
• Annual surveillance and periodic reassessment
